About Shivani - 9 Year Old Great Dane X (Trial)
Meet Shivani, an all-white 9 yr old Great Dane X. Shivani is extremely affectionate and loves nothing more than to cuddle. She would be the ideal companion for a household that is home more often than not.
Shivani has been friendly and social with every person she has met. She isn’t keen on fetch or playing with toys, and prefers to lounge around inside or outside if you’re with her.
Shivani has only slept inside and becomes distressed if left outside alone. She is housetrained and will let you know when she needs to go out. When out on walks, she likes to stay close by you, but can be easily distracted by other dogs or people, she will need ongoing training with this.
Shivani’s ideal home will have her family working from home/part time or retired, as she is not suited to being left alone for long hours. She loves living in a quiet home and needs to be in an only dog household, also no cats, rabbits or pocket pets.
While good with kids Shivani would thrive with older children in the family or no children.
She will need a yard with secure 6ft colourbond fencing with no small holes or gaps, she will not suit rural fencing.
For more information or to meet Shivani, please contact her carer Brad on bradleynelson@outlook.com to register your interest in adopting Shivani you can fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
Shivani is in foster care in Hamilton NSW. Due to current covid-19 restrictions, she is not available to interstate adoption. Shivani's adoption fee is $300 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provide individual listings with specific requirements for each foster dog. If you submit an application or inquiry and NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.
