About Mace
Hello, my name is Mace, I am a happy bouncy man. I get overly excited to see people and start jumping, so I would be best suited to a house without small children as I may accidently knock them over in my excitement. I will need to go to a home without another dog, as I'm unsure on how to interact with other dogs at the moment, but I am willing to learn. Which is why the lovely staff here at the shelter, highly recommend that I attend obedience training so I can learn in a controlled environment.
I will need an experienced owner to take me under their wing and show me the ropes. I will need a secure yard with 6ft fences to keep me safe and secure. As well as plenty of toys and enrichment to keep my active mind active, so I don't become bored and destructive.
With the right person, time and training I will make a lovely addition to any household.
Adoption details
Taking on a pet is a long-term commitment. Before adopting it is essential to research what type of animal would best suit your home and lifestyle.
All animals waiting for a new home can be found on the shelter website, or by visiting the shelter in person. All animals available for adoption are ready to be adopted straight away.

In response to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Campaspe Animal Shelter is making some operational changes, in place from Friday, 27 March.
Our team of staff and volunteers will continue to care for all animals at the shelter. Access to our services will now be by appointment only:
- Adoptions
Monday to Friday we will have two sessions a day available
10am – 12pm and 2pm – 4pm
Saturday and Sunday
10am – 12pm
- All other services such as, surrenders, stray animals, reclaims and microchipping
o Monday to Thursday 10am – 6pm
o Friday 10am – 4.45pm
o Saturday 9am – 1pm
o Sunday and public holidays 10am – 12.30pm
