- Indie is a beautiful cuddly girl who loves everyone.  She is very enthusiastic with her affection and will cover you in kisses and try to sit in your lap if you encourage her in any way! 
- She loves all people and children but her enthusiasm can be overwhelming so she is better suited to an experienced large dog home.
- Being such a young dog Indie still needs a lot of training and guidance to become the awesome companion she is destined to be. At the moment she is still engaged in a lot of puppy behaviour such as digging and chewing, although with the right amount of exercise and company she isn’t intentionally destructive, just a playful puppy.
- Indie would love to go to a home where people are home a lot or there is another young dog to play with. Due to her size another large breed dog would suit her and the dog must be young enough to enjoy her boisterous play. Ideally the property would be large as Indy enjoys playing and running which can wear out small gardens.
- Indie has a play chase drive which can be a problem for some cats as she thinks their running is a game. She hasn’t shown any ill intent and has learnt in foster care to be calm with confident cats but other small animals like chooks, rabbits or guinea pigs wouldn’t be suitable housemates for Indie unless the people were experienced at training dogs in those scenarios. 

Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit. Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview and a property inspection (as it is vital we rehome our animals to a safe, secure and suitable home).

The adoption fee of $600 assists to cover the costs of desexing, microchip, microchip ownership transfer, flea and worm treatment, vaccinations, vet check and a fitted Haqihana Harness.
