Hi, I'm Christopher.

I'm a Staffy X puppy looking for my forever home. I'm currently in care with my brother, Kendrick who is also up for adoption. We both look pretty similar - black with our white diamond chest but I have two white, tiny toes and a little white stripe down the middle of my face. We love to snuggle and play with each other and our foster humans. I love to play with kids when they visit and they're learning that I'm still quite young and can get over excited if they don't keep calm around me.

While my brother has cute puppy eyes, I prefer to pose as adorably derpy. I can take a little while to get used to new surroundings and new dogs but I love all people so as long as I have someone I can get a reassuring cuddle from, I'll settle in. Once I feel comfortable, my investigative skills are great and I can explore anywhere especially when left alone. I am very curious and can figure out doggy doors and sliding screen doors quite quickly so will need a secure yard and people with time and toys to keep me occupied.

I'm still teething but I am working calming down when told to. I know how to 'sit' very well. I can also 'stay' for a little while and can mostly 'go to bed' and 'leave it' when being given a treat. I am super food orientated so training comes easily, the biggest struggle is not getting over excited about all the delicious food. I'd love to go to puppy school so I can keep learning and work on being the best possible member of your family!

I'd also benefit from continued toilet training as I can get side tracked on my way outside. As long as I'm taken outside before bed time, I can hold it all night and will sleep quietly in my crate, until morning.

I looooove soft toys, chew toys, squeaky toys, puzzles and treats! I do better when left alone with some puzzles to distract me as I just want to be with my humans all day and can get a bit sad if I am alone for too long. I usually have toys or my brother to help me become more independent though and some days I cope better than others. After all, I'm still young and am still learning. This being said, I would prefer my new family has someone working from home and I'd love another dog I can learn social skills from. I'm also cat friendly.

I haven't yet shown any interest in digging but as I am a Staffy X, I may in the future especially if I get bored. I wont need much grooming as I have a short shiny coat but I will need regular exercise, a decent sized yard and plenty of toys to keep me occupied. I'd also love to be allowed inside and near my humans, with plenty of cuddle time. I have shown particular interest in soft beds, couches and rugs.

All my vet work is up to date and I'm due to be desexed on the 10/11/2021. My last vaccinations were done recently so I can't yet go into public until 16/11/2021 to keep me safe.
