Catdog loves being around people, dogs, and her foster familyās cats. When she greets you at the door, she will try to give you kisses and ask for belly rubs. She has bonded intensely with her foster family and shows that she is the most loyal dog. She feels at home in her current foster home, a new home will be a huge adjustment for her.
Transition into her new home will need to include patience, love, and consistency so that she can feel safe in her new environment.
Catdog is a very smart girl and is learning new rules quite quickly. Catdog can currently sit on command and will take food gently from your hand. It will be important that she goes to puppy school/dog obedience to further her training. She will need a home where she is stimulated mentally and physically, she will not suit a home with someone working fulltime as she would not cope by herself for extended hours. Catdog is now fully vaccinated and is loving to explore the world on lead. She is not too fond of the car yet and can get a little bit sick at times, but this is improving with every car ride.
She is 95 % house trained (only accidents if you donāt let her out for hours and donāt notice her sitting at the door or when she meets new people, she can get hyper excited and have a tiny wee)
Catdog has been sleeping both in a crate and in a playpen and has been sleeping through the night from 10,30pm to about 6am. She is currently sleeping in a playpen and comforting her small 6 week old furry foster brother. She would highly benefit from another cuddly dog she can snuggle up to at night as she just loves to cuddle with other dogs. (and also play )
Catdog is currently living in a home with children aged 9-13, whom she adores. She would love a home with children in it. She is quite gentle and will roll over for belly rubs, though being a puppy she can be jumpy and mouthy at times.
Catdog is currently living with two other dogs, one little pup and one older dog and has met other fully vaccinated dogs of all sizes, she has shown great social skills with all of them. She is also living with two cats and has been good with them Though she can annoy them as she just wants to play and they donāt always appreciate that.
