~ Meet Honey ~

Honey is a gorgeous gal who has stolen each and every one of our staff members hearts. She has the sweetest, most kind personality you could ever want. Honey just adores human attention and interaction and wants to hang out with you all day! Belly rubs are a MUST🤣

Honey came to us as an unclaimed stray, she unfortunately was not in good shape. She was underweight and just unhappy. She very quickly opened up to our staff and showed us her gorgeous nature 🥰

As some of you may remember from previous posts, we discovered Honey has a mammary tumor but with the amazing support from the community we were able raise the funds to get her the operation she needed quickly and she has recovered tremendously well !

Honey is a major escape artist so she needs to be inside with her family that will need to have someone home most of the time. Supervised backyard time is fine but she can scale fences quickly and with ease. Honey loves being inside with people so this won’t be an issue for her.

Honey Bunny is quite strong on lead and will pull so her new family must be capable of controlling her and willing to continue the work we have been doing for her lead manners.

Special Dietary Requirements: Honey has a severe allergy to food so she must be on a sensitive wet and kibble diet.

Other pets: Honey is happy to interact and co-exist with other placid, friendly dogs. She is not suited to a home with invasive and overly playful canine friends. Honey has shown no interest in our facility cats so shouldn’t have an issue with being housed with a feline.

Type of household: Older children, at least one member being home majority of the time, active and able to take her for daily walks, dog experience preferably with Honey’s breed.

Honey’s adoption fee covers: microchipping, desexing, lifetime registration, current vaccination, flea & worming, Government Breed & Temperament Assessment
