They say I like to chat and chat and chat and chat. I can talk the hind leg off a donkey (if I even knew what that was!). So what! I’m a sassy Siamese, so you, know, chattin’s in the blood. Ok, so I’m a little bossy when it comes to smooch time. You don’t smooch me long enough I’ll let you know, for sure. And don’t you forget to massage my tummy and give me the hard stroking pats and bottom scratches (I refuse to say ‘butt’) I like, or I may just tell you off. But in my cute, no nonsense Siamese kinda way. Okay with that? If you have to say ‘No’ to me, I’ll listen, and when you call me from anywhere, I’ll come running. I was brought up to have good manners! Even though I can be a bit picky with my food, I do love my Royal Canin Gravy wet food and dry biscuits for Siamese, which I graze on during the day. I love to play and jump and somersault – I’m a bit of showgirl at times,

I am Siamese through and through and don’t like being ignored (or left on my own, but if you do have to go to work or shopping, I’ll allow it). I’m not keen on kids either. Or strangers. Or other cats. They make me rather anxious. I might even growl a bit at them. I can’t help it, I was born that way! And I make no apologies about it! I’ve moved from home to home a bit, which makes me even more determined to find my forever home. I just need a stable, safe home and someone who loves me for me; someone who will make me their favourite girl, because I have soooooo much love to give back. We are run by volunteers. We are online between 10am and 6pm daily and try to respond within 24 hours. If you want us to follow up, you can text the Cat Phone on 0415-241-211.
To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from Cat People of Melbourne. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
