Bennie is a big softie who will be your greatest companion.
At some point in his life Bennie had a home. But somehow this lovely, sweet and affectionate boy has ended up on the streets. So we took him in, fattened him back up and he showed us what a beautiful soul he is!
Bennie likes to be wherever you are. He will join you in the home office all day, rolling around being cute, or on the couch while watching TV. He likes to hang out with you in the kitchen at dinner time and will steal your chair the second you move!
Bennie will greet you in the morning with friendly chats and wants to tell you all about the dreams he had the night before and also, where is his breakfast? He is also quick to remind you that it's bedtime and dinner time with dramatic meows that will make you laugh.
Bennie loves to chase the bell collar that was too small to fit his muscly neck and enjoys chasing a string or a ball. Even though he's a grown up, you wouldn't know it! He still loves to play like a kitten at times, and will play chasey down the hallway with you and get into every cupboard you leave open.
An absolute purr machine, Bennie likes to curl up on your lap while watching TV or working and rumbling away. You'll have lots of nice, peaceful cuddly moments with this affectionate gentleman too.
Unfortunately Bennie was outside for too long and is FIV positive. So he will need to be the only cat in the household and can't be let outside to roam free in case he infects other cats.
Bennie would suit a quieter home as he loves his daytime naps. A single person, a couple or a family with older kids would do well with Bennie. He is quite capable of entertaining himself alone for a while and just snoozes the day away if there's no one to play with.

Medical notes
Bennie was diagnosed as FIV+. This means he will need to be an indoors-only cat, and also the only cat in your home. FIV+ is an auto-immune disease to can impact on a cat's longevity. Bennie is otherwise in very good health.
Adoption details
HOW TO ADOPT FROM US:
1. Email dandycatrescue@yahoo.com and request an adoption form to be sent to you, fill it out and return it to us. We’ll be in touch!
2. If your application is successful, we’ll make arrangements for you to visit our cats and kittens at our foster carer’s home.
3. We ask that you pay the nominated fee to us via online bank deposit either at the adoption day or at the home visit (preferred), or in cash. We do not accept eftpos, credit or debit card transactions at this stage.
4. You will be provided with a folder of paperwork for your new kitty upon adoption. Your adoption fee includes a Central Animal Records Change of Ownership that is completed by us online two weeks after the adoption.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
