Hi, my name is Gemini or as my foster family likes to call me ‘Gemmy’. I’m only little dog (only 12kg) who is looking for a family who will love me forever.
I can be shy when I first meet people but once I get to know you, I will give you so much love and show you my cheeky side. I love to hang out with my foster family either watching TV or out in my foster mum’s study while she works from home. My foster family thinks I’m an adorable little girl who has blossomed into a happy little pup who loves to play and get cuddles.
I love to bury my soft toys in the garden in the hopes that they will grow into more toys. I’m a very inquisitive dog who loves to investigate the garden and I even went for a swim in the pool.
I really love kids, and love to play with them. I currently live with a 10-year-old and 12-year-old. I also love my doggy foster sisters and currently live with two. I was initially hesitant of my doggy foster sisters but once I realised they were very friendly, I started to play with them and now spend half my day playing chasey with them.
I love to go on walks with my foster sisters and I’m easy to walk on a harness. I can be a little uncertain of strange people or dogs when I’m out, but all I need is a little reassurance and I feel better. I’m easy to train as I’m food orientated.
I love playing with soft squeaky toys and want a family who will supply new ones as I just love them so much, I burst the squeakers. I also need a supply of cow hoofs as they have become my favourite thing to chew.
I’m looking for my own soft, fluffy bed that I can sleep inside on at night. I like to sleep safe and secure in my own room (laundry) at night and will happily stay all night in my own bed. I'm toilet trained so no need to worry there!
I’m looking for a family who either has another friendly dog who is very social and understands that I can be a bit shy at first or I’d be happy with a couple who work from home or are retired who have time to take me for daily walks.
If you are looking for adorable dog and you are happy to take the time to let me settle in, I’ll reward you with heaps of love and kisses.
Medical notes
Gemini has a low-grade heart murmur which does not require medication at this stage.
