About OLD TOM
Tom was found on an abandoned property in Kogarah that is scheduled to be demolished.
He had a hard life on the street and needs a home where he can be looked after and loved.
It will take time for Tom to settle into his new environment and bond with his owner which is why he needs that special owner who is patient and experienced with rescue cats or someone who is prepared to take on this commitment.
He has been checked by the vet and has had a blood test that indicates no serious health problems.
It was found that he does have FIV which affects the immune system, but as long as he is fed a good diet, no raw meat, it should not impact his ability to lead a good long life.
He is currently booked in at a veterinary clinic to have a dental examination and work if required.
The ideal candidate will be experienced with cats, caring, patient and preferably has no other pets.
Please be mindful that Tom needs a very caring person to look after him.
If you think thats you please contact us for more information.
