About Tobin
Tobin was found in the streets of Rydalmere with a severe head tilt. It was discovered that he had polyps in his ear which he had removed but he has been left with a residual head tilt. Personally, I think the head tilt is very endearing 😸 Tobin is a super affectionate and playful boy. He loves humans and will become the best friend of whoever adopts him. If you are looking for a cat that will snuggle up to you on the couch, give you lots of heads bunts and look at you lovingly then Tobin is the perfect fit.
Because Tobin is FIV positive, ideally we would prefer he be an only cat or go to a home with another cat that is also FIV positive or vaccinated against it.

Adoption details
Before Adoption:
Before adopting a new pet, ensure all family members understand that a pet is an emotional and financial commitment that you need to be prepared to love, house and keep safe for the next 15 to 20 years. This means premium nutrition, preventative health care, regular veterinary check-ups and keeping them inside or only having access to a cat proof area or yard. Pet insurance with accident and illness cover gives you piece of mind knowing your pet can get the veterinary care they may need and you don’t have to worry about if the expense.
We start off by either emailing you our adoption questionnaire or having a chat on the phone to get some details about who you are and what you’re looking for in a feline companion. Next step is to organise a meet and greet. Depending on your location, we bring the feline/s to you or you can come and visit the orphanage. There is usually a 24hour wait from the meet and greet to collecting your new family member so everyone has a night to think things over and so you have a chance to get your home repaired. If all goes well and everyone is happy, the adoption paperwork is signed and you collect your new family member.
All adoptions are subject to a two week settling in period. If for any reason your new addition is not suited to your lifestyle, you are welcome to return them for a full refund of the adoption fee. All adoptions come with an adoption pack which contains all their certificates and paperwork, information on preventative health care, diet, pet insurance and potential toxins/poisons around the home.
After adoption, we continue to provide ongoing advice and support in order to help you care for your new family member. To find out more about any of our orphans, please contact Alexandria at Kittie Kat Rescue, after the settling period we will always take back the cat no questions asked.
