Our lovely Bayles has come so far in his weeks in care, he has become friendly with the two resident dogs dogs, but is inexperienced with dog socialisation. When introducing new dogs, some time & space is needed, but it wont take long to get to the lovely place we are now in. Although he still tries to be dominant over the resident Staffy, it is lack of understanding of how to interact. He would benefit greatly from a professional to show him positive dog social skills.

He adores children but is prone to jump up in excitement & needs to be trained further in this area, older children who can correct this behaviour would be best. Bayles does like to take in the sights, sounds and explore when on leash but is highly trainable and would love a human who will take him on sniffing adventures. with regular daily walking he would be totally satisfied.

Pretty easy going to live with, Bayles is just looking for a forever companion. He sleeps happily on his bed in the family room all night & barks in the morning when he is ready to say good morning, toilet & eat his breakfast.

He is loving, happy outside during the day, mostly toilet trained, & truly a loving delight to have.

No cat to test with, but suspect that it would be ill advised.
