Meet Diesel Blue (aka Diesel)...the handsome, strong and smart blue shadow. Diesel is about 27kgs of lap dog. He enjoys cuddles on the couch and being with his pack. Diesel spends his nights in his crate and hangs out there for the short times he’s home alone. He knows basic commands in his foster home and is gentle with taking food.

Diesel is a vigilant boy at the moment who vocalises at new things he sees or hears, both home and away. With a bond with his humans he can move past it once acknowledged, but he’s still a lad who by default alerts to things he feels his people should know.

He is a ‘stage 5 clinger’; where you go - he goes. This is his way of showing you love and loyalty. He’ll hang out in the yard if he knows you’re not far away, but it’s near you he wants to be! He lives inside 6ft fencing in his foster home.

Diesel travels well in the car. He enjoys walks, but is inclined to shout or grumble at things he feels need commenting on, and is strong when he sees other dogs, so is best not saying hi to all he meets along the way.

He’s exuberant and full of vroom around canine companions so if living with one, he would do best with a female medium or larger canine who liked a bit of rough and tumble, and wasn’t a nervous or insecure dog herself.

Most importantly, he needs humans home most of the time who are realistic about his craving for good leadership, and his noisy style of engaging with his environment. He’s super teachable and desperate for his people to help him learn to relax. If there were kids regularly in his world, aged 8 or above would work best.
