She’s back and she’s ready to find her real forever this time.
Mouse has done this shelter life thing before and wasn’t a fan and now she’s found herself back where she started. Unfortunately Mouse was not settling into her new home as hoped and her humans were worried that she wouldn’t feel comfortable enough to ever be the companion they had hoped.
Mouse will need a very special home. She will need a home that understands that she is very scared and doesn’t understand that people aren’t so bad after all. Mouse needs patience and guidance in her new home so that she can learn to trust in her own time. She may never be that super smoochy cat that craves all your attention, but then again, she might. Mouse needs time to adjust and that might take a while.
For the time being, she wants to be left alone. To explore her new home at her own pace. She doesn’t want to be pat or held or bothered. She likes to take things slow, no rush. She should have plenty of time to come to terms with her new surroundings, right?
She’s a beautiful looking cat and we know deep down she’s curious and wants to love, she just doesn’t know how.
