About Maisie ~ 1.5yr Old BC X Koolie(On Trial 4/11/21)
This gorgeous girl is Maisie a 1.5 year old Border Collie X Koolie dog who loves all the good things in life!
She is a very affectionate, active pup seeking a loving home who will let her be a big part of the family. Her perfect day is sleeping in, socialising at the dog park or beach, playing with all her toys, chasing the ball, snuggling and wrestling her foster brother. Maisie will need a large, secure backyard to run and play all day as she has a lot of energy to expel!
Maisie is a real people person who melts hearts with her big brown eyes and happy face. She has not yet learnt what personal space is and will sit on your lap or foot or face to show her affection. She is a little anxious walking on the lead especially around roads. She loves meeting new dogs and seeing if they can run as fast as her.
Maisie will need people at home most of the time as she has previously jumped fences and become anxious when left alone for long periods of time. She calms down greatly when around other dogs but would not suit small pocket pets or cats. She is house trained, knows all basic commands and has shown no food or toy aggression towards other dogs.
Maisie is best suited to an active family who enjoy spending time outside and understand the needs of a working dog breed. Once she has received sufficient exercise she will happily snuggle at your feet (or on the lounge) and snooze.
To register your interest in adopting Maisie you can fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt or for more information please contact Tyne at tynehamilton@gmail.com

Maisie currently lives in Redhead NSW (suburb of Newcastle NSW) and is currently NOT available for interstate adoption. We comply with the current COVID-19 restrictions on movement and ask that you please consider your circumstances before applying.
