About Josie ~ 18mo Cane Corso X Mastiff(9/11/21)
Hi my name is Josie (Josephine). I am an 18-month-old Cane Corso X Neo Mastiff and I am a big, sweet affectionate softie looking for my furever family!
I am an intelligent, quiet girl who is happy curled up on the couch next to my humans until we go to the park or to the beach and I explode with excitement and energy. I will listen when called back and I enjoy socialising. I already know basic commands. I am toilet trained and
have very good manners at mealtimes. I am a little shy when meeting new people but am a big affectionate sweetie with my humans. I do need some ongoing training with lead reactivity and my new owners will need to be patient with me to get comfortable at my new home with some loving quiet times but I love car rides and I travel well.
Before I came into foster care, I lived with my brother and loved playing with him so I would prefer to live with an older male dog. I would suit being on a large property or a big secure yard. I also have lived with a cat but would prefer not to live with children as I scare from sudden movements and objects but once I am comfortable, I get the zoomies and love to play chasey.
My foster carers have introduced me to a crate so I can go there to relax and have quiet times, but my favourite thing is to snuggle and cuddle up with them on the couch. My forever home would ideally have a person or another doggie home to keep me company as I don’t
like being alone or left outside. I currently sleep on my bed in my foster carer’s bedroom
and on the couch in the loungeroom to feel a part of the family.
