About Baxter
Baxter is a very affectionate pup who loves to run and play. He is very intelligent and not deaf ( yes we had him tested). He picks up commands quickly and is a joy.
However, Baxter was born with a serious heart condition. He can have surgery to repair the defect or he can live a normal but shortened life. He has a patent ductus arteriosis PDA. Please google this In catahoula pups. They are born with it.
Medical notes
He has a PDA heart condition. He can lived several normal years but will eventually go into heart failure. You can choose to have his heart operated in at the specialist centre.
He is fit and healthy in all other regards
Adoption details
When you have seen your special new friend that you would like to meet, please email us and we will send an adoption application to applicants we believe are suitable.
Please do not apply because this pup is inexpensive - that is not the reason for his adoption fee. If you do not partially understand his condition you will not be invited to a meet and greet - we are happy to keep him in palliative care until the right home is found.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
