About Chester
Chester is a beautiful 3-year-old male Jack Russel X who would be the perfect addition to any family. This bundle of joy is everything you want from your adventure companion to your couch cuddle buddy.
Chester is a real people person and loves spending time with his humans and meeting new ones. His favourite thing is getting belly rubs and pats on the back. He has a beautiful nature and would suit any type of family.
Chester is confident interacting with smaller dogs but needs time to feel safe around larger dogs. He has not been tested around other animals.
Chester came into our care after being found wandering the streets of Mildura with no collar or microchip. We believe that his previous owners did not give him the care he deserves.
Chester is toilet trained and is very easy to walk on the lead (no pulling or chewing the lead), however he lacks basic skills such as sit and stay commands. As Chester is quite a new name (having not known his previous name) his recall skills are yet to be developed.
Chester suffers from separation anxiety and will cry when being left alone, however he is not distructive. Since being in foster carer, he has shown a great improvement in being alone already. This beautiful little man would be suited to someone who is home quite often and committed to ongoing training in manners and combating his separation anxiety.
We think that Chester would be suited to a pet free household so that he can focus on his training.
Medical notes
Chester is desexed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. He is currently not on any medication.
