About Bonnie
My name is Bonnie, I am a 1 year old Red Heeler cross!
I was surrendered to BARC due to getting out of the fencing at my previous home along with chasing other small animals. Therefore I am looking for a home with secure fencing so I cant get into any mischief anymore heheh.
Now I'm not one to look back at the past so lets move on to what I would like in my Future ;) I have heard the story's about Bonnie and Clyde, and the love they had for each other... that is what I'm hoping my new owner will have for me.
I am in need of a home with NO small animals and NO cats as I find it fun to chase them when they run! Whoopsies!
Dogs however, I love them! I can be a little unsure of the bigger dogs as I haven't really been around a whole lot. So if you have one in your home please make sure they aren't super bouncy and in my face.
I'm great to walk on lead and I also have the cutest little fluffy bum, due to my cross breed, I also don't have a tail!
I will require some brushing every few days to keep my fluff happy and looking beautiful as ever!
I LOVE playing ball so a good arm on my new human is a must!!
Sleeping inside would be so much fun, especially cuddles on the couch. Please can I be the little spoon?
I haven't really been around kids before, so 6+ would be a good age for me to grow up with them.
If you would like to be my Clyde to me Bonnie please give BARC a call at 5441 2209 and we can book you in for a meet and greet! 🖤

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
