About Georgie
Status: Foster with view to adopt
Georgie’s Tail: Georgie is a sweet, friendly, loveable girl who will bring so much love and happiness to her new family. She is incredibly friendly with everyone she meets and greets you with a big goofy smile and wagging tail. Georgie has started a weight loss journey since being with us, as she is quite overweight. Although she is filled with energy, loves playing with toys and going for walks, Georgie’s weight is holding her back, so weight management will be a big part of her routine. Georgie is happiest when she is getting pats and cuddles from people, but she would prefer a home with no other animals as she did not learn social behaviours in her previous home. She can be a bit of a sooky-la-la when she is feeling a bit anxious, but we think she will strive in a consistent home, with a regular routine. Georgie is a big goofball. She loves to carry around a squeaky ball in her mouth, covering it with slobber, and when she’s getting nice pats and rubs she will sit right up close to you, almost on top of you, and look at you like you are her whole world. She needs someone home often, that will give her plenty of love and exercise and is strong enough to handle her on the lead.
Georgie’s new family will need to help her through her weight loss journey and be willing to put in time to train and socialise her. She will need to come back for weigh ins at our vet clinic. Without a doubt, Georgie will bring so much joy into your life. Georgie is looking for a home with no dogs, cats or small animals.
