About Bronx
Happy and Loveable!
Don't let his sad face fool you, Bronx is one happy boy!
From his Carer:
"Bronx is a boy who loves love. He is the biggest cuddle bug and wants nothing more than to please his family and get all the belly rubs that he can find. He's happy to play by himself with his toys but also loves playing with other dogs too.
Bronx is very good at sleeping on his own bed but would never say no to a cuddle on the bed if you invited him. We are currently learning boundaries and how to walk like a good boy on a leash. He is very good at waiting for his food and like any dog, does get very excited when we get home.
Bronx is just a total sweetheart and wants everyone to be his new best friend."
Bronx needs 1.8m (6ft), secure fences and be allowed inside, especially to sleep. He also needs someone that will continue with his training to become the best boy he can be.
He is not tested with cats and not suited to chickens. He would not be suitable with young children due to his size and exuberance.
Medical notes
Bronx has tested positive to heartworm, but his treatment will be handled by AINB.
He is not showing any signs of it affecting him and will have a normal life.
Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need Website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. My emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
Please note all our cats are indoor cats only.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
