About Aspen
Meet our smoochy boy “Aspen”. He is a big smoochy love bug that is still a big puppy at heart. He has a very loving nature and enjoys the company of his family. Aspen is a clever boy who responds well to training’ learns quickly and looks for attention or challenging activities when he is not sleeping….which is most of the day!!
Aspen enjoys the company of other dogs however he is still learning doggy manners and awareness of his size. He really just wants to jump around and play with them but some may not be too keen on his enthusiasm so slow introductions and further training will be required. He is treat motivated which is a real bonus when training him to learn lots of new thing. Aspen can walk well on lead, knows to sit, wait for food, go to bed, he is house trained and also crate trained.
We are looking for a family with someone at home a lot to keep him company, committed to ongoing training, has a good sized yard, are happy for Aspen to be inside, will take him on lots of adventures, and ensure he gets lots of exercise and stimulation.
This big smoochy boofhead will continue to impress with his ability and willingness to learn how to be a well-mannered companion making everyone around him smile with doggo love.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.

• You have a large secure yard.
• Aspen will not be alone more than 4hrs.
• You will allow Aspen to be part of the family and allow him access to indoors.
• You WILL enrol him in obedience training.
• You WILL provide him with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
• You have experience with his breeds or have thoroughly researched them.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer including FULL details on mental and physical stimulation you intend to provide will be considered. You will also need to include details on the obedience club you will be attending and what knowledge you have on his breeds. PLEASE NOTE: if you provide basic details only, we will not process your application, nor will you receive any further communications.
Medical notes
Aspen has had some skin irritations which is currently being controlled with diet and environmental change. This will require monitoring but he has been given the all clear from his vet
Current environment concerns are some types of grasses.

Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
