About Carol Baskin
Carol Baskin has gone from street cat, to sweet cat in a short amount of time! Unfortunately, Carol did not have the best start in life. She was living in a cat colony and had rarely ever seen a person before. Then, due to a horrific injury she had to have her tail amputated.
While in foster care Carol was extremely scared and timid, but over time she has come to realise that humans are here to help. Quite often, her foster carer will hear Carol calling out for someone to come and give her treats and scratches on the head, she will even chase treats like a kitten. She has an impressive purr reminiscent of an idle motorbike. If you don't feed her quick enough (according to Carol at least), she will meow loudly and follow you into different rooms in the house!
Although Carol has come a long way since the streets, she can still be very shy around new people. Carol would best be suited to someone that has experience with shy cats and even has another cat she could become friends with, has plenty of patience, and does not have young children. Beautiful Carol does very well with other cats and seems perfectly tolerant of dogs.
All AWL NSW kittens and cats come litter trained, desexed, microchipped and will have received their first vaccination.
