About Loretta ๐ธ F02009
Hi my name is Loretta! Hereโs a little more about me ๐ป
My favourite food: Black Hawk dry food and Fancy Feast wet food ๐
My favourite toy: Scratching post
My favourite place: Bird watching on the windowsill ๐ฆ
Personality: If you are looking for a sweet but sassy fur girl, I am the girl for you! I am a fur lady who adores quiet affection from my human shelter friends, on my own terms of course! I am an independent fur queen who enjoys my own company and the simple things in life ๐ธ
Accolades: Being queen bee ๐
Best feature: My green eyes ๐
My forever home: I am looking for a settled forever home where I am the only fur child of the house, as I do not like to share my humans love and I am not very fond of my own kind. I would be happiest living in a home with older loving humans who will be around for pats and chats! I would also love to have my own special spot where I can retreat to for some much loved me time ๐ก
Loretta will stay with us for as long as it takes to find her forever home. Our staff are providing her with all the TLC that she so very much deserves, but she would love nothing more than to have a family of her own ๐

Medical notes
Loretta has Feline senile dementia, it is a cognitive dysfunction system (CDS), may occur as a cat ages and is directly related to the aging of their brain. It can influence their awareness, learning, memory, and responsiveness.
Some common symptoms:
Disorientation/confusion
Anxiety/restlessness
Extreme irritability
Avoiding social interaction
House soiling and inappropriate elimination
There are several things you can do to support Loretta as an owner, not only with a ton of love but by maintaining her health & wellbeing.
Those might include:
1. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and providing plenty of mental stimulation and indoor physical exercise.
2. Avoiding sudden changes to their daily routine, and trying not to move anything around the house, particularly furniture, as well as your catโs food bowls and litter tray.
This will make it easier for your cat to navigate around the house and minimizes the chances of them becoming lost or confused.
3. Diets supplemented with antioxidants, vitamin E and C, selenium, flavonoids, beta carotene, carotenoids, Omega-3, and carnitine can all help improve cognitive functions.
