About Chester
Chester is a beautiful two year old Border Collie cross with a goofy face and questioning eyes that seem to ask "am I a good boy?" Chester is very affectionate and loves to lean on you and stay close to you. His favourite game is tug-o-war, either with humans or other dogs, which he gets along great with.
He has plenty of energy to play, but also enjoys his down time with sleeps and cuddles. He loves a scratch behind his ears and under the chin. He does get quite excited at times, especially when you get home when he jumps up a bit, but he’s only young and with a bit of extra training, he will stop this.
He doesn't realise his size, so may not be suitable around small children. Chester sits and shakes hands, and is learning to sit and wait for his food. He needs a little more training with not pulling on the lead. He is house trained and is happy inside and out.
Being a working dog breed his new home will need to commit to regular exercise and brain stimulation, Chester is not a dog to be left alone in the backyard all day, so someone home a lot would be his ideal home.
He would be fine as a single dog, but would also be happy with another dog. This boy deserves all the love in the world, and whoever adopts Chester will be extremely lucky.
Please email Lorraine with an expression of interest for Chester if you think you can offer him an ideal home.
