Claire ~ Wolfhound X Puppy(On Trial 24/11/21)

Meet Claire – a beautiful 5 month old Rottweiler x Wolfhound who loves to run, play & snuggle.

Claire is the most loving girl you could meet.

She’ll shadow you around the house and yard & is always so excited to see you when you arrive home. If you want a loyal companion – look no further. Claire currently lives with a family who has older children (9 & 11) who she adores.

She is going to be BIG so please only apply if you are confident around large breed dogs.
Claire can sit, wait, has great recall & walks very well on a lead.

She is also house trained & is a very smart girl who will be easy to teach new tricks too.

Claire would like a companion dog to go home with but is open to someone that made play dates or park visits if there is not already a dog at home.

If there was no companion, then a family that is home more often than not would be preferable. She really loves her toys and plays with them and her siblings that she is in care with a lot, a little sandpit to dig would also be wonderful as the one they have now they love.

She is currently living with other foster dogs and puppies so is used to having friends to play with. Her companion dog would need to be calm & have the patience to teach a pup manners.

Claire needs to be welcomed inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. She will be a wonderful family dog but will not be suitable for children under 5 years of age. She will need good fencing with no small gaps.

We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All puppies will need plenty of affection, exercise, and training to ensure proper boundaries and routines are established.

This will ensure that you get the best family member/friend possible.

As Claire is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because She will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when She is approximately 6 months old. Please NO out of area applications.

Her adoption fee is $700 and includes desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she has been treated for fleas and worms.
