About Alex and Nikki
Nikki and Alex are an adorable bonded pair, now ready to look for a relaxed home and family to call their own. Nikki is a ginger domestic shorthair girl with white patches, and her son Alex is a classic ginger tabby boy. This sweet and affectionate mother and son duo were rescued together, and as they share an inseparable bond, they are looking to find a home where they can stay together.
Nikki is a sweet and relaxed girl who adores chin rubs and cheek scratches. Having been a young mum and done an amazing job raising Alex, she is now finally finding time to let her playful side to blossom. Nikki’s favourite toys at the moment are feather toys and she loves to chase them around in the room. Nikki is very close to Alex and can be often found snuggling up with him, preferably somewhere soft and warm.
Alex is a very affectionate young man who loves attention, both from his humans and his mum. He is also a very clever boy who is showing signs of easily learning new behaviours, including asking for food when his tummy starts rumbling. He can be skittish around new things that startle him, but once he feels safe and comfortable in his surroundings, he turns into a snuggle buddy. Alex loves to play and it is easy to engage with him through play, his current favourite toy being the laser pointer.
Nikki and Alex are looking for a relaxed and calm home with adults / teenagers only, to give them love and attention and plenty of pats, and even some playtime as well. They have not been around dogs but have met kids 7+ year of age. They would learn to live with respectful, cat experienced kids 5 years or older, however due to Alex’s initial shyness a proper introduction with enough space and time is a must for a successful outcome. Will your household be the one to give them the love and attention they are looking, and a home where they can give back twice as much in return?
