About Max
Max is seeking a dedicated and active family who are prepared to put in required training to make him their perfect k9 companion.
Max loves people and will go well in a family home with children. He loves to run and will require an active home that will run with him, do long hikes out on the trails and also prepared to train max to become a well mannered boy outside of his home.
He is great in the house chilling out on his bed.
He has been good with other medium dogs in foster care & enjoys running around with them so he can go to a home with or without another dog.
Max does not do well in city living so we are seeking a rural lifestyle for him with someone that lives on some acreage.
He loves traveling in the car, loves meeting new people, loves to swim in the dams, loves coming inside & being apart of the family, loves chasing birds & does chase livestock, but with training & discipline there will be no worries.
He loves to cuddle & wants to please his family.
Even though max has proven to be social with other dogs & living with them, he displays high arousal when on leash in town when he sees other dogs, so requires engagement Training & discipline to teach him this is not acceptable. He’s an Intelligent dog and food motivated with great potential.
