Hi! I’m Locky. I’m an 8-week-old kelpie cross. I’m one of 9 puppies known as “The Lockdown litter.”
Foster mum says I’m an sweet little boy who loves a cuddle. I'm a busy little man, but am a bit calmer than some of my siblings.
I need an active home with a doggie sibling, or a home that will ensure I have lots of socialisation with friendly dogs to help me grow in confidence. I live with 3 resident cats and chickens.
I love to play with soft squeaky toys and I enjoy a good game of tug ‘o’ war with my siblings. Chasing the little ball around is pretty fun too.
I sleep outside in my kennel with my siblings under the watchful eye of my older foster sisters. Foster mum & dad don’t hear a peep out of me until the morning.
Being a working breed, I need an active home. One that’s committed to my ongoing training & socialisation. If that’s you then what are you waiting for? Foster mum would love to hear from you.

Medical notes
All adopters must sign a contract agreeing to desex at 6-months of age. This is non-negotiable. Desexing at one of our partner vet clinics is included in the adoption fee of $620.
If you choose to use your own vet the adoption fee is $450.

~Work commitments/how long would I be left alone?
~Why do you think I would suit your family?
~As a working breed I will need ongoing training and mental stimulation to keep me from being bored. How do you plan to meet those needs?
~Will you let me live inside and be part of the family?
~I will need additional vet work in my life time such as follow up
vaccinations etc, is this a problem?
~I will also need flea, tick and worm treatments to keep me at my
optimum health, are you prepared for that?
~I've had a diet since being at the rescue of quality puppy biscuits & raw, can you
guarantee to continue my current diet?
~ I am a good 10-20 years commitment are you 100% ready to
give me a home?
~A yard check or photographic proof of secure fencing, shelter & sleeping areas will be
required.
~A vet reference may be required.
