About Scooby
Unmask this cuddle monster - Scooby Dooby Dooo!
Scooby completely missed the memo that he isn't a lap dog. All he wants in life is to be by your side or preferably on you, snuggled in.
As his name sake suggests he is also a fan of the odd scooby snack.
With life slowly returning to normal Scooby would make an excellent adventure buddy and a wonderful addition to any Mystery Machine.
Applications can be completed via the link below. Please note thst although we will answer all enquires, you will need a formal application to be considered.
Scooby's adoption fee includes Transport.
Medical notes
Scooby was in poor shape by the time he came to care.
He was undernourished, full of worms and had an untreated infection of this third eyelid (commonly known as Cherry Eye) that required surgical intervention.
He has put on weight and his eyes are healing well. He should make a full recovery and be back to crime fighting in no time!
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website https://radarescue.org/adoption
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within two weeks of the adoption.
