About 5694 - Krystal
💖💎 INTRODUCING KRYSTAL 💎💖
Hello there my soon to be fam! My name is Krystal and I’m a very special lady needing a very special home. As you can see I am very beautiful, but my sparkling blue eyes and luscious white coat have fated me with a lack of hearing. My deafness doesn’t bother me, and I feel just fine, but it does mean I must be a strictly indoor cat.
Nature
My Foster Mum says that I am a super sweet and adorable kitty. I also have a little sass, which can come out when I'm tired or have been overstimulated.
I have to say that I’ve crammed a lot into my young life so far. I came into care with a broken pelvis, so I got to stay in bed for six months while I healed. Thankfully with my Foster Mum's care, I’m all healed up now and ready to live my best life.
I do find humans quite amusing and like to follow you around so I can watch what you are doing. I also love to play with my foster siblings or chase the laser toy around. One of my super powers is that loud noises don't scare me, so please, vacuum, slam and stomp away, I won’t mind!
Like most cats, I love to rest, especially after a morning or evening of fun. I will need my own space or hidey hole where I can curl up safely, to dream of rainbows and butterflies. I do sleep very deeply and very soundly (I'm deaf, remember?), so don't be surprised if I tuck myself away for most of the day.
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
My Foster Mum thinks I would do better in a house with older children who will be understanding of my deafness and will know when I've had enough playtime, scratches or attention.
I happily live with my foster brothers and sisters, so I would be fine to live with another friendly feline, with slow introductions of course. I don’t know what dogs are, but if they are calm and easy-going then I might like to hang out with them too.
Likes / Dislikes
I don’t know who invented laser toys, but I LOVE them! I love cat tunnels too, for hiding and playing in. I do enjoy being patted, particularly around the head and cheek rubs, and long strokes on my back.
I also love to climb my cat tower and have view to outside world, there is so much to see! I love my wet food morning and night with some dental biscuits or tuna puree available during the day as a treat.
I don't like being over-handled or over-stimulated, and may tell you so with a little hiss or love bite. I also don't like it when you approach me from behind, as you can startle me. I am a super champion at using my litter box, and never jump onto counters, because you know, I am a lady!
My PURR-fect home would be with a family who understands my special needs as a deaf kitty and who are committed to keeping me safe and sound in a strictly indoor home environment. Of course if you have a secure cat run or outdoor caboodle I would love the fresh air for a change of scenery, but if not, that’s ok too. I'm a pretty independent girl, but still love the attention and companionship of my humans . Could you be my furever family?
