About Joey ID: 51543
Hi, my name is Joey.
Unfortunately I had a bit of an accident before arriving at GAWS and have had to have one of my front legs amputated - but don't let that fool you. I'm still one of the most energetic & playful cats around (also one of the most sleepy ones as well).
I take a little bit of time to warm up to people but once I do you've got you're new best friend for life! I have a big phobia of loud noises & sudden movements - due to that I would prefer an indoor home without children. I also seem to prefer female humans over males but that could improve over time.
I love to sit on the couch at night & watch TV or survey the room from the top of the cat tree. I begrudgingly made friends at my foster home with the other cats but I also love to be the centre of attention, so depending on the other feline personalities in the home, I might prefer being an only child.
NEEDS: Quiet, indoor home. No children.
Medical notes
Left forelimb amputation at scapulohumeral joint. Easy with no complications. Due to fracture radius ulnar and misalignment of joint.
