About Kevin
Big Kev is ready to find his forever home!
Kevin is friendly, chatty cat who is estimated to be around 5 years old. We think Kevin has been an outside cat for most of his life and he is slowly learning the perks of inside life, like toys and dress-up.
Kevin would be happy with a home where he could have some inside and outside time (in a secure enclosed yard or cat run).
Before coming into our care Kevin had some surgery on his legs. His hair is still growing in which makes him look a little ruff, but his sweet personality shines through.
Kevin loves attention and affection and being around people and animals. He will happily tell you about his day and ask about yours. He doesn't mind being picked up and will make a lovely lap cat.
Kev is friendly with other cats and loves being around them. He is good with cat-savy dogs who will respect his space.

Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website https://radarescue.org/adoption
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within two weeks of the adoption.
