About Lucky Tuxedo
Lucky Tuxedo was found sitting in the middle of a very busy road, terrified out of his mind. Kind people stopped the car and found a very young kitten. He was so small he fit in the palm of their hands. The finders vet thought he was probably 3 weeks old at that time, he was adopted by the kind finders and he's been with them ever since. Their circumstances have changed and now Lucky Tuxedo needs to find another loving, indulgent home.
Lucky is now almost 3, a mostly inside cat that enjoys supervised outside time, not a ‘smoocher’ nor a lap cat, but he does love his humans company. His other great love is food, and plenty of it. He enjoys watching the world outside, and catching a breeze. Lucky will jump up on the couch, make himself comfy and settle in for an evening of snuggling and TV watching. He also enjoys sleeping on the bed with his humans, although he has many favourite spots to enjoy a snooze around the house.
Of a morning he likes to sit on his trapped-in-bed human's chest, eyes closed and dribbling, whilst waiting to be given a few special treats. Then he gets up with his humans and has breakfast, then either a snooze in the sun, or out for an explore. Lucky likes to play at times, a few soft toys etc, but seems to lose interest quickly, he's more people oriented.
Lucky is not fond of being picked up, he will tolerate it for a short time only. Nor is he fond of being touched on the back half of his body. Acceptable petting is around his face and ears, or gentle tail strokes as he walks by, but be warned, when he starts switching his tail, enough is enough. Lucky will come and curl his way around your legs when he feels so inclined. His absolute favourite form of petting is scratches under his chin.
Lucky is best suited to a quiet home with adults for company. He did grow up with a dog but he wasn't best buddies with it. Since the dog has passed away, Lucky has been enjoying being the pampurred only pet. He is an independent soul and he calls the shots.
Lucky Tuxedo is a healthy cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #953010003428581, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption right now! Please note: Cat People of Melbourne is run by volunteers. We try to respond to messages within 24 hours, we are online between 10am and 6pm every day.
