About Peanuts ID: 54559
Hello potential family, I'm Peanuts! I'm petitie, pretty and playful!
I am seeking a human family who will accept my affection and have toys and some time to play with me.
I am independent and while in foster care I have enjoyed spending time at the top of the cat tree watching over my family and taking in everything that is going on.
When I come down I like to play with all sorts of toys, especially small balls and toys that dangle on strings with my family controlling them. I love to jump and chase those ones.
I do like to give affection in my own time, I enjoy rubbing up against human legs and receiving pats around the ears and head. I prefer to be the one to initiate affection although in foster care I did often come for pats when called.
While I have been with my foster family, I have lived with a small dog and other cats. I got along very well with the cats. The dog did not bother me at all, we didn't share a bed or play together but we were friends.
A ten-year-old human was my foster friend I enjoyed receiving attention and treats from him, in my own time of course.
I'm not a lap cat and I don't really enjoy being picked up. I prefer to play with humans than sleep on them.
I may be shy at first with new people but if you are patient I will come to you for scratches and treats and watch over you.
I do enjoy my food and usually come running when I hear the packet open, I like to be hand fed treats.
I always use my kitty litter; I didn't have any accidents in foster care. I know how to use the scratching post on the cardboard scratcher too.
Looking forward to starting my new life with my very own family.
Hope to meet you very soon.
