NAME: Catnis
BEFORE SAFE ESPERANCE: Came to SAFE Esperance from the pound.
ASSETS: Shy initially, sweet and gentle. Loves affection once she’s comfortable in your company. Full of energy and mischief. Loves to purr and enjoys getting her fur brushed. Looks like an owl with her beautiful round eyes and fluffy mane!
FAVOURITE THINGS: She loves to play with her humans if they have something feathery on a stick. She’s an energetic girl and enjoys climbing and hiding in the cat tree. She also loves empty boxes, feathers and rolling balls.
OTHER ANIMALS: Catnis has been introduced to other cats and shows lots of interest in getting to know them as long as they’re friendly. She has had her first introduction to a dog and was scared initially but could probably live with a cat-friendly dog after gentle, supervised introductions going at her own pace.
OTHER INFO: Catnis is litter trained and very clean. She is flea-treated wormed, microchipped and desexed.
IDEAL HOME: Catnis would best suit a family home with people who will shower her with love while treating her gently and letting her get to know them at her own pace. She could possibly go to a home with cat-savvy, gentle older children who will read her signals and give her space when needed. She will need regular brushing to keep her long fur healthy and she will need to be kept as an indoor only cat or have access to a large, secure outside run.
If Catnis sounds like the perfect girl for you, please send an enquiry and we’ll be in touch soon.
