This great, big, beautiful boy is about 21 months of age, he is painted a gorgeous soft cream brindle colour. A Mastiff X he would weigh approximately 45 kgs.

Whilst Sev has been in care with us we have have taught him many things. Sit, stay, drop, leave, come, back, inside, outside, down, heel, Ahh Ahh and No are all words he knows and responds to. Some he completely understands, some he’s still learning in their entirety. His recall is generally awesome.

Sev walks nicely on his ezydog Luca lead. He walks at his best on the lead when not distracted. He wants to play with every dog he meets. When he plays he can be over enthusiastic and be a bit rough , most dogs don’t appreciate this type of behaviour. Then with other dogs he listens and responds to their signals completely appropriately.

Sev is a whole lot of dog. Whilst he doesn’t jump up on me he frequently does it to others
and is best suited in an only dog home. Sev needs a confident and experienced owner -someone to take charge of him, someone to be his alpha, someone to show him how great the world can be. Someone prepared to give him time to learn more. He looks at you with his beautiful, soulful eyes. He tries hard to comprehend what you want of him and loves hearing praise, his favourite words are "Good Boy"

Sev can be gentle and loving; soft and sweet. Raz him up and he will treat you like a play thing; he’s too big and silly for this so obviously we try to keep him calm.
He’s not a chewer, except for cows hooves, pigs ears and great big bones; all of which you will need to keep him happy.

Sev loves to play fetch. Sometimes he doesn’t bring them back so I’m still rewarding him with treats when he does. Sev ignores cats he just doesn’t seem to care or focus on them at all.

My Sev needs a special diet of hypoallergenic food. He reacts by developing a nasty red, whelty rash; which when he is reactive looks quite sore. He eats approximately 7 cups of food a day. He needs to remain on quality food as well; this is extremely important to his well-bring.

Sev is highly food motivated and treats are the way to his heart as well as his head. He really wants to please.

This boy needs someone to be patient with him and continue his training. Being kind and repetitive will get you far with this great, big, goofy puppy. He has an awful lot of character.
