About Alli
Please read profile carefully. We are very selective on a home for this girl.
After many months of rehabilitation Alli is now ready to start the journey of finding a committed lifetime home.
Alli is a Jack Russell Terrier that has come a longway but needs a home that will continue to give Alli a home she feels safe in. Date of Birth 1/8/2019.
Alli's STRICT home requirements:
🐕ONLY PET - no cats, other dogs, caged birds or pocket pets.
🐕NO CHILDREN - Alli is not suitable to be around children. No children in the home or regularly visiting the home (post COVID restrictions).
🐕SOMEONE HOME ALOT - Alli loves company. She would not cope being in a home with fulltime workers being left for 8 hours per day.
🐕QUIET HOME - Alli needs a quiet home where there is not a lot of activity.
🐕FIT AND ABLE TO GO ON DAILY WALKS - Alli loves her daily walks. When Alli first came into our care going for a walk was too scary, now it brings great joy to Alli.
Alli still has some behavioural quirks so she needs an understanding owner that is willing to continue to work with her.
🐕 One of the things Alli hates is new people rushing her or focussing on her. She will warning snap to create space. Alli will happily approach for pats once she has sussed the person out in her own time.
🐕 Alli is an alert barker. She likes to sit in the window watching the world go by and announcing to her foster carer when someone is passing by.
🐕 Alli likes to have her yard free of those pesky birds. She will chase them and bark at them.
🐕 Alli is mostly toilet trained. If it is wet outside she is a little precious and does not like getting her paws wet, so is known to toilet inside even with a doggy door access.
🐕 Typical terrier Alli needs secure fencing.
Alli's adoption fee is $800. She goes to her new home flea and worm treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
