Pixi and her sister Piper arrived from very scary beginnings and needed time and patience to begin to trust people. In new or loud situations, Pixi will be fearful and need a safe place to hide. Once she feels safe and has time to get acquainted she will reveal her incredibly affectionate nature and shower her trusted person with tickly kisses, cuddles and throaty purrs. Pixi is quite an active kitty at times and just loves food, she will jump onto your shoulder if there is food about! Pixi can unintentionally engage her claws when excited, or when kneading her paws during cuddles, therefore is not suited for a home with toddlers or children younger than 10. Both kitties were happy to make friends with a polite cat and dog after slow introductions. Pixi and Piper are quite bonded and perfectly suited to a loving, quiet indoor home together.
