About Chance
I found myself at Lort Smith when my carers were no longer able to look after me.
I am an energetic guy who would love it if my new owners had some understanding of keeping rabbits as companion pets, as we really are a clever species and require lots of handling and interaction with our people.
Ideally I would go to a home where I can have somewhere inside and outside just for me so I can stretch my legs and have heaps of fun, I would prefer not to be placed in a hutch as I am quite social and have so much energy and love to bounce around. A safe place indoors where I can play with my toys and spend time with you would be great!
I could benefit from another rabbit companion, however I have been injured by my previous companion prior to our desexing surgeries, so we would need to be sure we got along and move slowly with the introductions. Perhaps someone about the same age as myself or older.
If you think that you will be able to satisfy my cravings for attention then I would be fine to go into a home on my own. Have you owned a rabbit before? We actually have lots of dietary and health requirements so feel free to ask our staff if you have any questions.
Feel free to fill out an expression of interest form and perhaps you could hop on in to meet me!
