About Dobie
Dobie is an energetic little man looking for a wonderful life full of love, cuddles and adventure!
Dobie's perfect match will be a calm but active adult who has some good dog experience to set boundaries, so the little guy can relax knowing he will be safe in any situation and doesn't have to manage everything himself.
He loves car rides, long walks, exploring and running with his canine buddies. In between these adventures, he loves a good sleep and cuddle on the couch with his human. He is sweet, loving, curious and clever; very responsive to training (especially if there is treats involved!). He comes when he's called, even when out exploring, and has some basic training. He will blossom with a human pal who'll continue working with his training and provide lots of fun times to keep his active little brain engaged.
Dobie's one thing to work on is he can have some anxiety around some people and some dogs. He becomes stressed if there is too much noise, particularly people yelling/arguing, so he needs a calm, quiet home where he won't find himself in the middle of drama. He's a little yappy with some people and the same with some dogs when he's on lead or in the car, but is generally fantastic with other dogs once introduced properly, and really enjoys their company. He would love a calm, confident, well-mannered dog as a big brother or sister.

1. The number of and ages of people in your home
2. Your previous experience with dogs
3. What technique you would use/how you would address anxiety/over-excitement behaviour on leash.
We are not accepting applications from families with children as Dobie's ideal home is a quiet one with calm, loving adults ***
Dobie is a super sweet little soul who you will fall in love with at first sight and who will be your best little companion if you are lucky enough to be "the one" <3

About Sunny Days:
Sunny Days Rescue & Rehab is a registered charity, foster care network and private shelter, focusing on the rescue, rehab and rehoming of ‘true stray’ cats - cats who've never had experience with humans or a human home.
The overall objective of our organisation is to:
💕 successfully physically and psychologically rehabilitate terrified cats and find them homes which understand their needs and are compassionate to their history,
💕 remove complete stray cat colonies from the community and ensure they will never breed again or be back on the street again,
💕 provide an example of the potential to rehab unsocialised cats to other organisations who may not have understood or attempted to achieve that potential before,
💕 educate the community on how many stray cats are hiding in the dark corners of community trying to survive and that desexing is the only way to begin to lessen these numbers and the resulting suffering,
💕 provide an opportunity for volunteers to learn animal husbandry and handling skills to a high level which may help them in their future work in animal welfare and as pet owners,
💕 and provide an opportunity for compassionate people to come together and pool their skills for the betterment of a demographic of animal that is mostly ignored and misunderstood despite us humans being their source and the reason they even exist.
