Oh, hey there, I’m Duke. I’ve been told I’m handsome boy.

I’m pretty chilled, and love loooong naps. I’ll want to be where you want to be, but I don’t mind a bit of time apart, either.

At the moment I’m living with another dog, and we get along very well! She’s small-to-medium size, and we love to have a wrestle and chase each other from time to time. I’d prefer a house, but I think I could adapt to an apartment. I’m not really fazed by anything and don’t need to bolt off after running things.

The kids next door love to come and pat me over the fence, but I’m not jumpy. I get a serious case of the wags when I see them (and you, of course).

I don’t really know how to come over when called yet, but I am pretty well housetrained. I I learned that very quickly, and can hold it overnight easily. I know to stay out of the kitchen, and I’m a dream on the lead. I am a bit of an escape artist though, so watch out for my sometimes-sneaky ways.

As I said earlier, I’m quite relaxed. I like making new friends with other dogs, although I’m a little bit wary of other male greyhounds. I have to admit, I eat far too quickly. I reckon that could be solved with a differently-shaped bowl though.
