👻Stay Puft Marshmallow Man👻

This special, marshmallow-y boy is looking for a snuggly home where he can lounge in your arms and stare lovingly into your eyes.

He is very affectionate and loves to smush his face against yours to make sure you are paying 100% attention to him. He doubles as a live-in masseuse as he loves to ‘make biscuits’ on your lap. Puft likes to be part of the action so would like a home that is willing to include him and give him the love he deserves. He will seek out your lap and he will make a great ‘bed buddy once he is settled into his new home.

Unfortunately, Puft spent the first 5 years of his life as a stud cat who lived in an outside enclosure. This has meant that he wasn’t given the opportunity to socialise appropriately with other cats so he hasn’t learned how to read their body language. This socially awkward little love will be looking for a home where he can be the only cat and doesn’t have to worry about ‘working out' what the other cats feel or being too ‘extra’ for them.

Due to previous trauma, Puft walks with a limp as his hips and back legs are not as strong as they should be. We have explored many treatment options for him and while it is not able to be fully resolved it is easily managed and he is still able to live a happy and healthy life. We will discuss these management options with his new family however this doesn’t stop him from being a very active cat. Puft can (and will) jump up onto the couch and anything chair height but having some steps to get onto taller things like a bed would help him in the long term. He loves to play and is especially enamored with his feather stick and will bring it to you when he wants you to play with him!

We wish Puft could tell us his story as there are times when normal actions can frighten him though he gets over it quickly when he realises you’re there for love. He would suit a couple or family with teenagers so that the people in his life are predictable and understanding of his needs.

He is a fluffy ‘marshmallow’ who will need regular professional grooming as his persian coat is too much for him to keep up by himself. Luckily, he happily allows you to clean his eyes and will require it at least once daily to keep him looking handsome. While in care Puft has had a dental that has left his teeth shiny and clean, this will need ongoing monitoring as he gets older.
