About Petal
Please meet little Petal of the Spring Litter, a very sweet and cuddly female kelpie x pup, born on 6 April 2021.
Petal's mum is a tricolour kelpie but we have no information on his father, though we guess he's a working dog breed of some description, perhaps border collie.
A mild-mannered and highly affectionate puppy, Petal loves people and other dogs. And as you can see from the video in this profile, she's already learning her manners.
She is an inside-outside dog and loves to have cuddle time with her favourite human in the evenings.
To be happy and content, Petal will need plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulation. Secure fencing is a must. She is not suited to full-time workers.
Preference will be given to homes where someone is around most of the time and there is another compatible dog for Petal to play with. Prior experience with the kelpie breed will be highly regarded. As always, secure fencing is essential.

Her adoption fee is $850 and at the point of adoption she will be desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.
Applicants must be prepared to travel to Warwick, Queensland to meet Petal.
Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) The "meet and greet" is held in Warwick, Queensland. If successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
