Hi! I'm Bruiser and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• MUST be allowed inside with my family
• I'm nervous and scared around other dogs, so I need to be the only dog at home
• I'm also scared of cats and rooster, so a home where there are no other animals is a MUST for me.
• Secure Fencing & gates with no holes or gaps I can squeeze through
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• A quiet & mature family/household is what I'm looking for
• I am a very nervous and shy little man, so I need a family who'll allow me to grow in confidence in my own time.
• A family who understand I may do a little growl when you want to place a lead on me or to pick me up. This is out of fear and I will get over it very quickly once I get used to you

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• No young children as I can be a bit shy in new situations and with new people and little ones may accidently scare me. Teenagers may be ok, as long as they understand that I can be very nervous and shy at times.
• NO OTHER DOGS, NO CATS AND NO POULTRY - I'm scared of them and just want a quiet life getting all of your love to myself

My best features:
• Gentle & placid
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans, once I'm comfortable with you.
• I walk well on lead

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I am shy at first with new people and in new environments so will require a family who will take their time allowing me to settle in and continue on with my socialization. Taking me out and about to new places and meeting new people should help me grow in confidence.
