About Ikusi
Ikusi is a curious and spirited pup who loves to go exploring, playing fetch and cuddles. This sweet little girl enjoys her food and walks.
She walks well on lead and is gaining confidence every day. At the park after a good sniff and run around Ikusi likes to sit quietly and take everything in. She has a great time playing with other pups and has met lots of doggy friends of all shapes and sizes while in foster care.
Cuddles, pats and attention are her favourite things and Ikusi will often paw at her foster parent's leg to be picked up and snuggle close to them on the couch.
During the day she can be found napping in the sun, playing with her rope toys or running around with her large-mixed breed foster sibling. Ikusi has learnt to sit and stay and her toilet training is coming along well. She has learnt to take herself outside through the doggy door during the day and will sit by the door at night to be let out.
Ikusi loves company, so she would suit a home with another playful dog and someone who’s home often to provide lots of stimulation and take her on lots of adventures.
You will need to be committed to her ongoing training, socialisation, health & happiness. Her physical & mental stimulation needs must be met sufficiently and as a working breed mix, these are more than your average dog.
She is not suited to novice owners, being left alone all day or being an outside dog. We will only consider homes that understand her needs and can demonstrate how they will meet them.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
