About Juke DL2731
Hi! My name is Juke and I am a happy, energetic boy with lots of love to give. I am super smart and love to learn, so there must be a big ol' brain in my large Staffy noggin.
I am very food motivated and am house-trained. I already know how to respond to “come”, “sit”, “stay”, “wait” and “slow down”. I'm currently working on “heel” and “drop it”, but sometimes I get too excited when I’m distracted. However, when the treats come out, I will do anything for one!
I am really active and will need lots of mental stimulation as well as physical exercise to help wear out my busy brain and body. I'm a strong boy and can pull hard on the lead, so let me have a good run or a game of fetch before we try to take a walk, to get all my sillies out first.
My excitable energy will be best handled in a household of adults only, possibly older teens. I have no idea how to make friends with other dogs yet, and can become reactive when passing them; I will need ongoing training with a confident handler to work on my doggy social skills. I haven't yet met any cats.
I would be an ideal match for experienced dog owners who are committed to helping me continue my training. I love being with you and am not a fan of being left home alone. So I'll best suit someone who is home a lot while you help me to work on this.
Email my friends at DFLadoption@gmail.com today to apply.
Medical notes
Allergies (skin rash and conjunctivitis) currently managed with injections from vet.
