She-Ra

Hey there, I'm She-Ra, Princess of Power.

These guys at SCAR found me in a house with a bunch of other cats and no humans in sight. It was rough. I had to compete against lots of other cats for food and attention, but I'm tough. I'm a superheroine after all.

I won't lie, it was a bit scary on day one in a proper home. I tried to hide behind the washing machine. I'm an expert hider, but it didn't take me long to realise that this was a nice home and so I came out. I've now explored every inch of the rest of the house, and I've found this really nice windowsill to sit on, where I can soak up the afternoon sun.

When I'm not being lazy on the window, I am a big fan of playtime. My foster mum has all kinds of cool toys; Ping-pong balls, string, fake mice, toilet paper rolls, balls of rolled up foil... they're all so much fun to chase when they slide along the floor.

I must confess, I'm also a bit of a foodie. I like to sniff and taste everything. My favourites so far are roast chicken and these delicious nibbles treats my foster mum gives me. She just has to pick up the packet and I come running. I do my best dance for her, in circles around her legs and give her my biggest meow to let her know how much I want it!

I've been dreaming about what my forever home would be like. It would need to have adults only, because loud noises and sudden movements are still a little scary for me - but I'm getting better. Head rubs and pats are ok, but only on my terms. I'm still a little shy, so I really just need someone who is kind, caring and will be committed to helping me continue to build up my confidence.

I haven't really made friends with my foster sister, I've been there done that when it comes to sharing my home with other animals, so if it's ok, I'd like to be the only princess that resides in your castle please!

I still have plenty of growing to do! If you can give me a little time, lots of love and patience I'll happily return the favour by being the most wonderful companion to you.

When She-Ra came into our care, we noted that her main foot pads on all 4 feet were quite soft. She exhibited no signs of pain or lameness and the issue is now resolved.
