About Pip
Horsham Rural Victoria
Pip is not suitable for high density living. She prefers a rural setting.
Our gorgeous girl Pip is now ready to find her life time home. Pip is a greyhound x staghound (mostly greyhound) that is an active and sometimes excitable girl. Pip is turning 2 years of age in Mid October.
Pip loves to stretch her legs and have a run before kicking back and sleeping on her bed inside. Pip is house trained and needs a home where she can be an indoor outdoor girl.
Pip was recently tested with cats whilst on lead and she did not show any interest in them. We expect if a cat ran Pip would chase.
Pip is in foster care with two other dogs. A small senior maltese terrier and a larger staghound cross. Pip is great with these two dogs. She has been introduced to other dogs with no major issues either.
Pip can have a big excited bark when seeing other dogs when out walking, but she shows no aggression. Pip is one of those exuberant dogs that yells across the street at others wanting to say hello. Pip was tested with a variety of sized dogs and we have no concerns around her interactions.
Pip needs an active home that will meet her needs for physical and mental stimulation. She would be good in a home with another dog and/or older children. Pip needs a secure yard and if bored she will dig holes. This girl is a pure sweetheart.
Pip loves being inside so an indoor/outdoor lifestyle would be perfect for her.
Pip's adoption fee is $600 and she goes to her home flea and worm treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
