About Ember & Avalanche
Ember & Avalanche, or Ava as she is fondly called came into our care after living as strays in someone’s backyard. They are “sisters from a different litter!” Their poor stray Mum had several litters before she was saved from the streets. Beautiful big fluffy tortie girl Ember is the older sister being 10 months old. She is more quiet out of the two, and loves to spend most of her day lazing about in the sun. She is gentle and sweet and loves soft pats and scratches. She is initially a little shy, but once you gain her trust her confidence will come out. Ava is the younger fluffy grey sibling at 6 months old. She is much more shy and will take a bit longer for you to earn her trust! She is very active and loves nothing more than chasing the laser light and playing with “da bird”. Both sisters have grown up with a variety of other foster cats and kittens so they are very well socialised. Both girls have been raised on a healthy raw fed diet and have had all of their vet work done including vaccinations, desexing, microchip, flea and worm treated.
PLEASE NOTE: Both of these girls are bonded siblings so please do not ask us to separate them. They are also initially very timid and shy so it will take a little time for them to come out of their shell.

To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a remote or in-person house check done, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
